A 19th Century mahogany folding and portable bagatelle board game box mounted as a coffee table, the hinged lid opens to reveal a green baize gaming surface inset with nine numbered carved bamboo cups flanked by twenty-eight peg holder panels inlaid with boxwood and ebony for keeping score. The game board sits in a custom-made, mahogany stand. It can be removed to sit on a higher table for playing. It does not include balls or cues, but these are easily sourced online. It can be played with a cue with a mace (cue with a paddle on the end,) or with a traditional-style pool cue Bagatelle in the history of gaming that goes back hundreds and thousands of years.
