Crafted with exquisite detail, this Antique Louis XVI French Escritoire Secretary Desk makes a timeless statement in any home. The rich, veneered inlaid woodwork on the exterior is complemented by four drawers, each adorned with elegant hardware. Inside, a drop-down leather-topped desktop provides a refined workspace, revealing seven small drawers, three cubbies for organizing essentials, and a mirrored back to add depth and character. We made a new key from scratch.

Due to its antique nature, the tabletop does not fully close flush on the right side, extending about 1/2 inch from the cabinet. Over time, the wooden surface has naturally shifted, creating a slight misalignment. Despite this, it remains a beautiful, unique piece that exudes timeless charm and character.

The back surface mirror (see attached photos) has some signs of age, let us know if you would like us to replace the mirror before it ships.
